Best speakers, greatest minds meet once a year and deliver this super conference on science, art, and just about anything.
Hans Rosling, the super star statistician (oximoron?) founder of Gap Minder - the organization that takes statistics and makes them into visual wonders, (which I used in the last lecture), spoke in TED a few times. Perhaps his best lecture was in 2006.
